Two Programs. More than double the cash.
For 2012, The Legend Advantage Program will offer two levels of entry: Advantage and Advantage Plus. The Advantage program, as offered before, offers tiered contingency to owners of Legend Boats based on the number of participants in a sanctioned event. The Advantage Plus program, in addition to Advantage Program, offers double cash paybacks on those same events, with total contingency totaling over $30,000 in just seven events. In addition to the Legend Advantage program that offers up to $1,500 in contingency per win to Legend Boat owners, we announce the Legend Advantage Plus program, offering purse-matching double paybacks on select events.
That’s right; double your money with a win. And don’t just do it once, do it seven times per year. The amount of potential bonus cash available solely from the Advantage Plus program totals $30,000.00, and participants automatically double-qualify for the standard Advantage Program upon entry into the Advantage Plus program.
Over the course of seven wins, Legend Boats will match purses up to the following amounts, respectively:
Win 1: $5,000.00
Win 2: $2,500.00
Win 3: $2,500.00
Win 4: $2,500.00
Win 5: $2,500.00
Win 6: $5,000.00
Win 7: $10,000.00

The Details:
Contingency paybacks come at a price. Oftentimes with other manufacturers, that price is built into the retail sale of each and every boat sold, driving prices higher and higher every year for all customers, be they contingency participants or not. At Legend Boats, we understand not all boat buyers are die-hard tournament fisherman, and not everyone fishes events that would put them in position to take advantage of such programs, so we’re doing things differently. If you want to take advantage of the aforementioned programs, you can opt in at your desired level. If you don’t, then you won’t. It’s that simple. Everybody has the opportunity, and you determine your potential, not us.
What’s New:
- The Legend Advantage Program is now offered at $99.00 per year, and offers exceptional paybacks on tons of events, trails, and organizations.
- The Legend Advantage Plus program comes at a price of $350 per year in addition to the standard Advantage program, and offers potential to double your winnings up to the maximum amount of $30,000.00 per year.
- All Tier 2 and Tier 3 events qualify for Advantage Plus contingencies.
- Entry into the Advantage Plus program requires Advantage Program participation, and both programs will simultaneously offer their respective paybacks on single wins, up to three times per year. Beyond three wins, the Advantage Plus will be the sole contingency awarded. That gives you the opportunity to win up to $6,500.00 in contingency in one event!
- Registered owners of all Legend Boats year 2010 or newer qualify to become members of both programs.
- Advantage Plus Members fishing sanctioned big bass events will automatically be contingent to double their hourly paybacks with a win for that hour. Hourly contingencies paid per event are unlimited with respect to the number of wins in that event. Standard Advantage Program members are eligible to take advantage of the double contingencies in select Legend-sponsored events.

Bassmaster Classic:

Tier 2 Tournaments
The below events will pay Advantage Members as follows for a First Place win. The Tier 2 Tournament field must be 70 anglers (35 – 2 man teams) or more for payout of any kind, excluding Championships. Advantage Plus members will double their winning purse in these events, up to the maximum amount.

The Tier 3 Tournament field must be between 40 and 69 anglers (20 to 34 – 2 man teams) or more for payout of any kind, excluding Championships. The below events will offer double hourly cash to Advantage Plus members. Standard Advantage Program members are eligible to take advantage of the double contingencies in Legend-sponsored events marked with two asterisks (**) below.

Official Rules and Guidelines:
- You must register for the Legend Advantage program and/or Advantage Plus program prior to competing in any sanctioned event to become eligible.
- All winners will be verified with the sanctioned tournament organization.
- Legend boat ownership and Advantage membership will be verified before payout.
- Winners are required to provide to Legend Boats a photo of themselves wearing an approved Legend tournament shirt taken on stage at the event site with your award.
- Only winners of events and/or circuits that are listed on the official Legend Boats Website here are eligible for payment.
- Any Person employed by Legend Boats LTD is not eligible for this program.
- Legend Pro Team Members are fully eligible to take part in the $99 Advantage Program. Advantage Plus entries are restricted to retail purchasers of Legend Boats. (Retail purchasers are buyers defined as receiving no special pricing, discounts, incentives, prize boats, etc. from Legend Boats.)
- Any and all events must be fished from a Legend Boat, year 2010 or newer.
- Anglers must be wearing a Legend shirt during competition, media coverage, pre-tournament meetings, weigh-ins and awards ceremony to be eligible for payment.
- Legend Logo on tournament shirt must be centered across full front of shirt (minimum width 12.5”) and be the highest placed logo below the collar.
- You must display the Legend Advantage Member decal on the driver’s console / windshield of the boat you are fishing from.
- You must display a Legend decal (14” width minimum) on your tow vehicle.
- The “Official Tournament Finish Affidavit form” must be submitted to Legend Boats within 30 days of event competition for payment consideration. (Please allow up to 6 weeks for approval and processing of payment)
- Registered anglers must fish from their own Legend Boat during all competition days.
- Sanctioned team events will offer contingency only to the owner of the Legend Boat. Only one contingency payout will be awarded per event* Co-anglers or team partners are not eligible for contingency regardless that they may be a Legend boat owner.
- Only 1st place winner of the overall event who is the registered owner of the boat will be awarded contingency. Big fish awards, ties, winners decided by chance, and other awards will not qualify for contingency.
- Legend Advantage Plus contingencies will match only cash payouts from the tournament organization. Other prizes will not apply towards the matched amount of contingency.
- Sanctioned Big Bass events qualify only for double hourly awards, in lieu of standard Advantage Program contingencies.
- Big Bass Events that are sponsored by Legend Boats will offer double hourly contingency to all Advantage Members. Other sanctioned, but not sponsored Big Bass Events will offer double hourly contingencies solely to Advantage Plus Members.
- Only Tier 2, Tier 3, and Big Bass events qualify for Advantage Plus contingencies.
- It is the angler’s responsibility to know the guidelines and official rules of the program. Angler must meet all guidelines and submit proof that guidelines were met.
-If you purchase a different Legend Boat after you are registered, you must contact Legend Boats at (888)-657-5051 to change the serial number on your registration documents.
-Advantage Plus contingencies will be paid in the order listed above without exceptions.

- Income taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
- Legend Boats reserves the right to change, modify, enhance, or terminate the Legend Advantage program at any time. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.
- Legend Boats’ decisions on eligibility, award payments, and all other aspects of the Legend Advantage program are final.
*Excludes Big Bass events. Multiple paybacks are possible in hourly weigh-in type events. Number of hourly contingencies paid is unlimited.
