Legend Introduces Alpha Tactical

MIDWAY, AR As the 2012 Bassmaster Classic kicks off in Shreveport, LA, Legend Boats today announced the release of its long awaited Alpha Tactical.  The boat, available in 3 sizes from 19-21 feet, is a limited edition Military tribute boat available at special pricing exclusively to Active Duty or Veterans holding a DD214.  From the O.D. green and desert tan custom gelcoat, to the rifle notched butt seats, 18” XD Rockstar© wheels, special edition Power-Poles©, Humvee inspired gauges, and bucket seats straight from the Apache helicopter, the Alpha Tactical lives up to it’s name in every regard.  Each Tactical boat is personalized for the purchaser with a custom embroidered nametag and branch of service stitched to the back of their seat, and proceeds from every boat will be donated to the Semper Fi Fund in their name.

“Coming out of the busiest model year in our history, we couldn’t think of a better way to thank our fans, customers, friends, and family than to offer a boat built exclusively for the men and women who make it all possible” noted Dean Smith, Legend CEO. As a salute to our troops, we’ve teamed together with our vendors and suppliers on this project to offer the Alpha Tactical exclusively to those troops at the absolute best price possible.

The Alpha Tactical was previewed to the public just weeks ago on the Ultimate Fishing Experience airing on NBC Sports Network, where aspiring bass pro and double-amputee Marine Corporal Larry Draughn joined Bassmaster Elite Pro Jason Quinn to chase dreams and big bass at Promise Ranch in central Florida.  At the conclusion of the experience for Larry, and after boating a 13lb largemouth for Quinn, Larry was presented with paid entries into the B.A.S.S. Opens, a boatload of gear and tackle, and the keys to the first ever Legend Alpha Tactical.  Larry’s boat is now on display at the Bassmaster Classic this weekend in Shreveport, LA.
