With the turn of July, it’s now the boating world’s New Year. Saving the midnight kisses and NYC ball drop, here’s what’s new for Model Year 2017 at Legend:
All V-Series models are now standard with Digital Engine Manufacturer Gauges. For Mercurys, it’s the SmartCraft SC1000 Package, including a Digital Tachometer and Speedometer, and two smaller digitally-fed, analog Water Pressure and Engine Temperature gauges, called Link gauges. On Yamahas,
two Command Link Gauges are standard with Digital LCDs, and on Evinrudes, the single Icon 3.5 CS is the standard.
Also standard on V-Series this year is STX Seating, and there’s a new standard 18″ wheel option, called the Mamba.
Standard Equipment on the V-Series is otherwise unchanged, still decked-out with two Lowrance HDS 9 Touch Gen IIIs, Choice of 36V Trolling Motor with built-in Universal Sonar, and the Illusion Trailer with 18″ wheels, wide fenders, torsion axles, and swing-away tongue, among other things. You can find comprehensive standard equipment lists per model here.
The Alpha Series remains unchanged for 2017, other than the trailer on the Alpha 211R. It’s now standard with the same trailer as the Alpha 199, with 15″ wheels and leaf spring suspension. The Illusion Upgrade is now optional on the Alpha 211R, like the rest of the Alpha Series.
