What’s in the new logo? I’m glad you asked. The V-20 logo is a product of months of tinkering, years of planning, and a last minute decision to name the boat after it’s own shape. Simple enough, right? Exactly.
Actually, the name came late, but it’s got some real meaning. The wide “V” was the design inspiration of a lot of the boat itself. If you look at the consoles, the splashwell, the center console, even the stitching in the seats, there’s a common crease or V shape. It’s a sharp look that really inspired us to give this boat a new feel while maintaining the clean and simple lines of the Alpha Series.
And the logo says a lot without saying a lot, too. To start, the “V” is super-wide, much like the new hull. It’s an ultra-wide V, yet still a V and actually one that will cut rough water better than most (read: all). More than anything though, we wanted to make it real clear that this was our new flagship 20-footer, and that this was a widebody; hence the gigantic sub-V “20″. It’s sharp, wide, and narrow, all at once. Design perfection if you ask us.
